SUMMARY: – Stones can have value, but they are not alive. In 1 Peter, the writer calls Christ a living stone, and a chief cornerstone. Why are we drawn to this living stone? He is chosen by God (like we are). He intentionally laid that cornerstone in Zion. Curtis goes over the symbolism of a cornerstone. Christ’s “living stone” can become a stumbling block for people who do not believe.
