SUMMARY: Paul in his letter to the Philippians urged them to stand firm. Curtis compares this to the guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier, who stands watch in all kinds of weather without flinching. They always show up and are predictable in their reactions. Paul wants this to be a Christian’s go-to approach to each other. He specificially refers to two women who were feuding, and instructs them to be of the same mind---to get their acts together. You don’t have to agree with everyone’s opinions, but to accept and find a way to be in harmony despite differences.
