Sunday Morning Bible Classes 9:30a - 10:15a
Bible Classes for all ages are held at the church building on Sunday mornings before the main assembly time. The classes begin at 9:30a and end at 10:15a, providing time for parents and kids to gather back in the auditorium for the assembly. Note: the adults' auditorium class is webcast live on ustream.tv so those who cannot attend in person can still listen to the lesson. There is a link to the live webcast on our home page.
Sunday Morning Assembly 10:30a - 11:30a
Worship services begin at 10:30a in the auditorium and are scheduled to last one hour. Occasionally a special event such as a baptism may result in the service running a few minutes later. The entire congregation (all ages) meet together in the auditorium for the first 20-30 minutes. You will find a program listing the activities for the worship hour, names of the songs we will sing, scripture readings, and the names of those who will be presiding over each activity. In that program handout, there is a tear-off section where you can fill out any prayer requests you have, and these will be included in the closing "Shepherds' Prayer" at the end of the service.
Worship time begins with a greeting and short announcements, followed by scripture readings, singing of hymns, prayers, and taking of the Lord's Supper (communion service). After this time, children who wish to partifcipate are dismissed to Children's Church (see information below) where they sing and learn. Those remaining in the auditorium will hear the sermon, closing remarks, and the "Shepherds' Prayer." Parents should pick their children up in Room 10 after the final prayer.
Small Groups - Times/Locations Vary
Many small groups meet sometime during the day or evening on Sunday, although these groups may meet on any day they choose.
Wednesday Evening Bible Classes for all Ages (6:30-7:30p, Plus AWANA (6:30-7:45p)
Attendees of all ages will find classes and activities on Wednesday evenings at the church building. During the school year, we offer AWANA Bible Class activities at no cost to the children or their parents. We have classes for everyone year-round for all ages--teens, babies and toddlers too young for AWANA, alternate classes during non-AWANA times, and of course, classes for adults. There are usually two to four topical classes for adult learners to choose from except during Summer and Winter Series when all adults remain in the auditorium to learn from guest speakers or special-topic studies. Adult classes cover a variety of Bible study topics as well as spiritually significant life classes such as Marriage and the Family, Parenting, Women's Studies, and Financial Management.
